Yograj Singh says MS Dhoni will “never be forgiven.”

Yograj Singh, the father of former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, has once again launched a scathing attack on MS Dhoni, accusing the former Indian captain of destroying his son’s career. Yograj, who himself has represented India in seven international matches, has been vocal in his criticism of Dhoni, often blaming him for Yuvraj’s struggles. In his latest outburst, Yograj stated that Dhoni would “never be forgiven,” a comment that quickly went viral on social media.

Speaking to Zee Switch’s YouTube channel, Yograj expressed his longstanding grudge against Dhoni, saying, “I won’t forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life.” He added, “I have never done two things in life—first, I have never forgiven anybody who has done wrong to me, and second, I have never hugged them in my life, be it my family members or my kids.”

This isn’t the first time Yograj has taken direct shots at Dhoni. Earlier this year, the 66-year-old claimed that Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lost the IPL 2024 because of Dhoni’s misdeeds. Yograj accused Dhoni of being “jealous” of Yuvraj and suggested that his negative actions were coming back to haunt him. In a viral video, Yograj said, “CSK lost IPL 2024. Why did they lose? It’s whatever you sow, so shall you reap. Yuvraj Singh is the ICC Ambassador, hats off to him! And this jealous Dhoni, where is he? He didn’t even shake hands with Yuvraj, and that is the reason why CSK failed this year.”

Dhoni, who announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2020, remains active as a player in the IPL. However, the future of the 43-year-old with CSK is uncertain, as there is no clear indication of whether he will participate in the next IPL season. Despite his continued involvement in the sport, Yograj’s harsh remarks reflect an ongoing personal vendetta against Dhoni, driven by a belief that Dhoni played a role in hindering Yuvraj’s cricketing career.
