Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh secured India’s second medal by defeating South Korea in the 10m air pistol mixed team bronze medal playoff.

On Day 4 of the medal events at the Paris Olympics 2024, Bhaker and Singh shone brightly, clinching the bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team shooting event. Bhaker made history by becoming the first athlete from independent India to win two medals in a single Olympics edition. In boxing, Amit Panghal (men’s 51 kg – Round of 16) and Jaismine Lamboria (women’s 57 kg – Round of 32) were defeated. Preeti Pawar is set to compete later. In archery, Bhajan Kaur advanced to the Round of 16 in the women’s individual event. In rowing, Balraj Panwar finished 5th in the men’s single sculls quarterfinal. Additionally, the Indian men’s hockey team defeated Ireland 2-0.
