IPL 2024 Prize Money: KKR received Rs 20 crore for their victory, while SRH earned Rs 13 crore as runners-up
The IPL 2024 concluded spectacularly with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) winning their third title and receiving Rs 20 crore in prize money. The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) finished as runners-up, earning Rs 13 crore. The total prize money pool for IPL 2024 was Rs 46.5 crore.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who finished third and fourth respectively, also received prize money. RR earned Rs 7 crore, while RCB got Rs 6.5 crore. Virat Kohli of RCB won the Orange Cap for scoring 741 runs and received Rs 10 lakh. The Purple Cap went to Harshal Patel of Punjab Kings for his 24 wickets, also earning Rs 10 lakh. Nitish Kumar Reddy of SRH was named Emerging Player of the Season, and Sunil Narine of KKR was named Most Valuable Player of the Year.
